Kingdom of Pixels is a 2D MOBA platformer that brings back the charm of classic pixel art games. Similar to popular MOBAs like League of Legends and DOTA 2, it offers a simplified yet engaging experience. Players create an account and choose from a diverse roster of heroes, each specializing in melee or ranged combat and normal or magic damage. The goal is to destroy the enemy's crystal by working with minions. Currently in pre-alpha, the game is constantly improving, with one server in central Europe and average match lengths of about 15 minutes. Game modes include 1v1 ranked, 2v2 ranked, and practice matches, providing variety for all skill levels.

To play Kingdom of Pixels, start by creating an account and selecting a hero. Items can only be purchased at your spawn, so plan your build carefully before heading to the lane. Win matches by destroying the enemy crystal, but remember you cannot damage it directly—your minions are key. Open the path to the crystal by destroying enemy towers, which boosts your minions' stats. Use the 45-second preparation period to position near the Gold Rune for extra gold. Save gold for Health Potions to stay in lane longer, and avoid damage while using them. Buff Runes spawn every minute starting at 01:00 in the bottom area, offering advantages in battles. Controls include W to jump, A to move left, S to move right, D to drop down, J or left-click for basic attack, K or Ctrl for first ability, L or Alt for second ability, B to recall, and number keys for item actives. Right-click to sell items.
