Mudfield.io places players in a World War II conquest scenario where they must choose to fight for the Axis or the Allies. Each faction competes to control key positions on the map. Before entering combat, players select a soldier class such as Medic, Assault, Anti-Tank soldier, or Sniper. These classes define available equipment and responsibilities on the field. The Medic supports teammates, the Assault class pushes objectives, the Anti-Tank soldier counters vehicles, and the Sniper provides long-range overwatch. Success depends on how well these roles are combined during a match.

Capturing Control Points and Scoring

The central objective is to capture and defend control points scattered across the battlefield. Holding a point steadily reduces the opposing team's score, and each enemy eliminated also contributes to that drain. The first team to reach zero points loses the match. This creates constant pressure to both attack and hold ground rather than simply chasing kills. Coordination with teammates is essential because a single player cannot easily secure and maintain multiple points alone. The real-time multiplayer format means every decision affects the team's overall score.

Weapons, Vehicles, and Controls

Mudfield.io features period-authentic equipment including the M26 Pershing and German Panzer IV Ausf G tanks, along with infantry weapons like the StG44, Thompson, Kar98k, and Springfield. Players move with standard keyboard controls, enter and exit vehicles with dedicated keys, throw grenades, aim down sights, and switch equipment using number keys.
