This pulse temporarily freezes an alien in place, allowing the player to guide it to a marked zone. The challenge comes from the aliens' unpredictable movement and the traps they leave behind, which can slow the player down if triggered.

The game offers several ways to play. A story mode follows a series of themed missions across different parts of the ship.
